Join the Dallas Soil & Water Conservation District's Barksdale Cookie Volunteer Team! We’re on the hunt for FOUR enthusiastic individuals to join us from 10am to 4pm on Thursday, August 20th, 2026, at the Iowa State Fair!
As a volunteer, you’ll enjoy free admission, meal tickets, and parking passes for the day. Plus, you get to take home a bag of "reject" cookies, yum!
This marks Dallas SWCD's exciting second year volunteering at Barksdale Cookies at the Iowa State Fair! Your participation helps us raise funds to support crucial operations like hiring district conservation technicians and interns, supporting student poster and scholarship competitions, hosting field days, and so much more!
